The Surprise (Dramatic Music!!!!!!!!!!)

Imagine your parents had told you to get up at 5 so everyone can hope on a bus.Where to? you might ask to your parents, now here comes the scary part.....(Jaws Music).......THEY DON'T ANSWER!
Doesn't that make you think your going to boarding school!
Anyway we did what mum said and we turned up at the front gate and met a elderly couple.
The lady said '' Are you going on the scenic flight too?'' LOOK WHO LET THE CAT OF THE BAG!!!!!!
Instantly i said ''What scenic flight?'' And that is how we found out we might die today...... obviously we didn't or i wouldn't be typing right now, but god i got windy!
As we took off we hit turbulence and mum griped my leg with her sharp nails and wouldn't let go!
On this scenic flight we went over Argyle Lake (and told us everything we learnt the day before on the cruise.)
We also went over the Bungle Bungles and the Argyle diamond mine which i'm sure all the lady's out there already know this but it is the only place in the world that finds pink diamonds.

Really enjoyed this flight and hope people have $1350 dollars!!!!!

After that we went to El Questro and went to some hot springs and went to Emma Gorge!

Lake Argyle

Going to try to do a video post right..........NOW!

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It wont work!
Anyway we went to Lake Argyle and it was really BIG!
And when i say BIG i mean really BIG!
Here are some photos.

 That dam wall is 300 metres high and 300 metres wide at its base, it also has a clay core with small and large boulders protecting it! Its made like this because of the earthquake activity around this area. This is the outlet side of the dam. On the other side you can only see a quarter of the dam and the inland sea (lake Argyle) is at 93% capacity. Due to evaporation the lake loses 2.5 metres of water a year and the irrigation only uses 1 metre a year! (yes dad told me to say this... and now he hit me!)

I only trust that last really awesome person!

Really enjoyed it and was a great thing to do.

After that we went to the old Durack Homestead and that was really good too.

BORED!!!!!!!!

For all those kids out there who have to go to school and wish they were on holidays......well look how bored i look!

Anyway in Western Australia in Kununurra and are really enjoying it.
Haven't been in internet for a while and next time we do something like free camp for a couple of days i will give everyone notice first.

Litchfield National Park

Today we went to Litchfield and went to see Wangi Falls, Burly Rock Holes, and Florence Falls.

    Anyway dad will take over tomorrow as he is the one going on the full day fishing trip!

SNAPPING CROCS!!!!!!

Today we had a school day and a nearly dying day. The hunter safari jumping crocodiles was a bit of a close incounter with the prehistoric kind!

I called this one the Jayden LoBasso because it was going so fast!

These are our new friends! Lucas (11) Elissa (10) Kylie and Grant. They are from Melbourne.
Oh and i bought that top with Brutus on it (the first picture!)

CHOPPER REID!!!!!

This amazing photo really says it all!

Driver has been forced by someone (Boss) and has now got the mo off!

Driver was sending photos yesterday and because he was scared of what Grandma (his mum) would say he did not send an email to her!

Went to crocosaurus cove yesterday and loved it!

 That was at the reptile show.

And this is Miss Contrary fishing for dinner......It tasted terrible!

After that we went to Palmerston and saw the movie Brave in 3D.

The girls (besides Miss Contrary of course) cried at the end.

Today we are going to the jumping crocodiles on the Adelaide River with our traveling companions Lucas and Alissa (and their parents of course!)

DISASTER!!!!!!!

Well before i start i will tell you now, DONT take a second hand caravan in to kakadu!
I think in total we have no door handle,no metal thing holding up the roof and 2 broken gas struts that make the roof come up easier!
So as soon as we knew we had no door handle mum came up with an idea!

Mum had a bad hair day so she put on a hat! Look at dad's BEARD! (Dwarf's love beer and beards......)

LOVED kakadu! we went swimming and saw some amazing wildlife!

Mataranka And Katherine

When we got to Mataranka we all really wanted to go to the hot springs. Turns out to be just like an obstacle course because of all the logs and tree trunks that come up from the riverbed. (Of course I was the one that was ahead and found all of these things by banging in to them.

  And this is how you eat ice cream in the NT if your driver found out that its cheaper to buy a 1 litre of ice cream then 4 ice creams for 20 dollars!

And let me tell you after around 5 minutes of being out of the fridge it started to melt!
Today at Katherine we went to Katherine Gorge and went on a 4 hour tour.
Near the end you had 1 hour to swim or just lay down and look who the first one out there was!

I would like to mention that 2 minutes before hand we saw a freashwater croc............
And here are some more crocs!

We met some more friends today, the brother and sister are both around my age but i think the boy is in year six in Melbourne. Funny enough they are nearly doing the exact same trip as us but there going to fly back to Melbourne in Perth.

Missing everyone heaps and to bad so sad for all my mates who have to go back to school tomorrow!

The Journey So Far.................

We are 16 days in to this little adventure and I haven't been doing enough photos on to the blog, so I am going to put up some funny and just some good photos we have on our camera.

Burgess' and the Memen's

While we have been at Alice Springs, the Burgess' and the Memen's have been at the caravan park with us.
on my other post, i mentioned a ride with a G-force rating of 5?, well Ben (Burgess) was crazy enough to go on it AND have a dagwoodog afterwards!
We have done most of our gorge and gap visits with them while we have been here.

will go to Tennant Creek tomorrow and hopefully will be in Darwin in 5 days.
Might not have internet for a couple of days so if i dont update it will be because of that.

Alice Springs Show

Yesterday (6 of July) we went to the Alice Springs Show. Now as all kids know the first thing you want to do is go on a ride that as a g-force rating of 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Because im not crazy i just went on the hurricane and the CHA CHA and mum forgot to take a photo! :(
The AS show was really good but i guess anyone would say that if u got a huge serve of strawberry ice cream in a cone for 3 DOLLARS!
Anyway after that we went to the old Alice Springs Goal and the Royal Flying Doctors Service museum (the flying simulater was broken)
Today we will go to the Old Transport Museum and a gorge.

Dinky The Singing Dingo

After we went to rainbow valley, we decided on our way back to Erldunda, we would go to Sturts Well and listen to the only singing dingo in the world.

As we drove back from Kings Canyon, we noticed that the fuel light was on. Dad said we would fill up at Curtain Springs but when we got there..........the pump was empty.

Dad and mum quickly worked out that we should make it to Erldunda but if something happened we would not make it.

As we fell asleep i got up to go to the loo when i saw it. I rubbed my eyes and smiled,the fuel truck had arrived at 8:30 at night, 

here is a another picture of Amity patting the wild Emu that Quinn would not even go up to it for a moment. (For people who do not know, Quinn is scared of anything with wings.)

Hope that everything is alright in Pirie and that UG, Auntie Ros and Lucia are having a good time on holidays!

Uluru and Kings Canyon

Sorry that i couldn't blog while in curtain springs because we had no power.

As the lanes looked up at Uluru they were not scared..........sort of.
but, with strength they never thought they had the 4 of them made it.

but then it hit us....... we had to go down!
Unlucky enough it wont let me put up the video so i guess its only a half movie!

anyway, we did Uluru on Sunday the 1st and i will put up some stuff of kings canyon.
